Noxious weeds

We received a letter today notifying us that in a few weeks time the council is visiting properties in Lawson to see if we are harbouring noxious weeds. We had some here when we arrived (privet, blackberry, montbrecia) and systematically removed them, though remnants do pop up. That's the trouble with weeds, turn your back on them and they are out of control.
