Victoria Pass is the road down the western escarpment of the Blue Mountains. At the moment there are wattle trees flowering on Victoria Pass -- they are creamy yellow rather than the brighter yellow seen throughout the winter.
[Actually I am no longer sure this is a wattle. The flowers certainly look like wattle flowers but the leaves look eucalypt-like. I found a flower on my walk today that looked for all the world like a wattle but it isn't. Maybe this one isn't either]
