Music

I dallied by Junction Falls a while longer enjoying the water music.

  1. This looks as though you captured the water with a very open aperturer or slow shutter - is that the right terminology. Whatever: the water has that fluffy appearance. But surely you did not have a tripod with you on your bushwalk.

It is wonderful how the water has worked on these rocks over the millenia.

  4. I love the sound of running water too. I can only imagine what this sounds like against the rocks, but it looks wonderful!

  5. Julie, I did have a tripod with me but didn't use it because it is such a fuss setting it up (should follow your recommendations and practice more at home). There was enough light for me to do this hand held. The camera chooses the shutter speed, which was a little slower than usual, hence the blurring from the water movement.

I love they way the water has worked the rock at this waterfall into ripples. That's why I took this close in shot.

  6. I take some time off during the holidays and this is what happens? I can just imagine slipping on that that and hitting my bum on each bump on the way down!
