Hooray, my job arrangements have changed as of today. I expect to have more time working from home and hence some time to walk my beloved bush paths again.
For the theme day I have chosen a banksia. These are in are in flower in the forest at this time of year. I can't wait to get out to see them.

Ah, banksias - beautiful plants. Once had a huge banksia serrata outside my kitchen, but it became a danger as it was lifting the path and under the slab, so we reluctantly had to remove it. I never have planted somethign to replace it, so now I think I'll have to get a smaller banksia to fill the gap. It used to attract lots of parrots.
ReplyDeleteWHat a gorgeous picture. You can see why it's so attractive to birds. I've recently taken to Banskia honey - it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely water droplets on this flower, Joan. I am glad the pressure is easing and you can get out and about a little more.
