Looking for the King 9 - Guard

I think everyone it getting a little tired that the King is proving so elusive.  Here we have a guard standing tall - whew we have reached the gates of the palace! Grass Tree - Xanthorrhoea

Like a sentinal - is this the same as was commonly known as a blackboy?
It has been an interesting walk to the palace with lots of little precious jewels along the path - I have enjoyed the journey.

Dianne, these are a variety of blackboy but they do not grow tall around here ... more like clumps of grass. Their flowers are however tall.

This looks like the inflorescense of the Agave attenuata. Beautiful!
