"With Glimpses of Creeks and a Vision of Mosses"
Like a sentinal - is this the same as was commonly known as a blackboy? It has been an interesting walk to the palace with lots of little precious jewels along the path - I have enjoyed the journey.
Marvellous. Just letting you know about a couple of new Aussie bloggers: Nick at http://melbournedaily.blogspot.com/Jo at http://aviewofsydney.blogspot.com/
Dianne, these are a variety of blackboy but they do not grow tall around here ... more like clumps of grass. Their flowers are however tall.
Thanks for the heads up Jim. I have visited the blogs today.
This looks like the inflorescense of the Agave attenuata. Beautiful!
How dumb of me! I did not realise they flowered like this ... but of course ...
