At the Craft Market in Blackheath among the predictable stalls of knitted goodies, costume jewellery, silk scarves, paintings, photos, cards and wooden toys we found Rik crafter of beautiful pens, clocks and mirrors.
My father used to try his hand at crafting the outers for pens when he had a lathe, and could operate it in safety. The outside was always lovely but the mechanisms were cheap and nasty. I am sure Rik's were not of that ilk.
