Harvesting

There seemed to be a lot of forest harvesting going on in this area which I guess doesn't happen very often because I understand the trees have to grow 20-30 years first.

  1. Lovely smell of pine sap coming through my monitor this morning. This is a good perspective on those endless rows of farmed product.

Rather like growing a child - takes about 20 - 30 years before it reaches maturity.

  6. Peter and Joo, it could be in your world but I am sure the mountains in the distance are lower than anything you have.

Paul, I reckon pine burns rather too hot and fast to make a good log fire.

Kevin welcome. Great to see another Blue Mountains blogger.

Julie, baby snuck in again :-)
