Sublime Point Road, Leura 6 of 7

But no matter how much the gardens are planted and tended the native forest is never far away in the mountains.  As we head down the road the exotic gardens give way to native gardens and not much after to the native bush itself.

  1. No matter how pretty cultivated gardens are I always find the bush much more fascinating.

    1. I agree. I do love cultivated gardens but the bush soothes the soul in a very different way. And I have learnt all about bio-diversity from Whistler's Rest. The natural bush is simply amazing in all the different plants that live in what all looks so much the same.

  3. I like both, cultivated AND natural. I especially love the smell of natural, perhaps for the forest floor.
