O wow. That looks like a much smoother run than anything I have driven to thye Blue Mountains. I rmember this roadworks beginning when I lived in Sydney years ago. Now I wonder if it helps to give some flow to weekend traffic.
It is amazing there is just one section at Bullaburra left to go. It will be the end of this year for it to be completed. The widening has been going on for year and years.
It does help with traffic flow but there is a lot more traffic these days. Also more traffic lights along the highway. On Long weekends and during peak season it still slows to a crawl. We try to stay home on such occasions.
We have a lot of road construction going on in the Toronto area. I do hope the pain is worth it. ;))
ReplyDeleteI never imagined our road could end up as good as it has. I hope you find the same.

Perhaps it's time we tried it out then! It's been a long time since we had our "taste of winter" in the Mountains Blue.....
ReplyDeleteDo come. It has been cold enough to light the fire lately!
DeleteWe drove that road a few times last year. It's certainly much less painless than before!
