As I walk along I notice this daisy like flower and wonder if it is native or an intruder.

  1. It looks like one of the Olearia (Daisy-bush) family which has 80 Australian species, with about 8 widespread through the Blue Mountains.

  2. Wanderer thanks so much for the identification. I am always rather worried about assuming plants are native that close to civilisation, especially plants that look like they belong in a garden. These are delightful, now I'm glad I can love them in the bush.

  3. Native or intruder it's lovely!
