Decay

I enter below the canopy of the trees and feel myself relax and breathe.  I love the earthy decay of the forest floor.

  1. I love the coolness and greenness of a temperate rainforest.

  2. Decay, but balanced with new growth. Beautifully captured.

  5. Decay, yes, but you've also captured the new growth fed by that decay. The cycle of life. Perfect.

  7. JM, no I've never been to the Amazon forest. I'm sure I would enjoy it too. I suspect the growth is much more dense than in the temperate rainforest.

Pam, I just die in the suburbs.

  9. This is a delight, Joan. Next week, I have scheduled images from a walk about 500m from my house. It will astound you. Lots of exotica, though, I am afraid.
