Barraga

We called into the small town of Barraga (Population 60).

  1. Down at the Tramway museum in Loftus, they have an old Ampol bowser.

  2. I love old country towns having lived in a few. This is how I imagined the setting surrounding my blog story. Guess the real estate office I featured would have to be in the next town on however, as a population of 60 means real estate would probably not "move quickly". Delightful photo!

  3. 60 people? Well, I shouldn't be surprised, as I think we have some villages with less than that once people have come to the coastline and only the old have remained. This is in fact a major problem the last incompetent governments were unable to solve.

  4. 60 is exceedingly small. A family enclave perhaps?
