Oh my, hasn't it been wet! The spot of sunshine in this photo is a clear sign it has not been taken recently but the inclement weather is making pushing spotted mushrooms up all over the garden right now ... not that I'm going out to look at them until the sun comes back.
I am however back from my blog break and going over to Sweet Wayfaring to post a series of shots from the new World War 1 gallery at the National War Memorial in the lead up to Anzac day.
I got a splodge of blue skies today, about 11am. Just immediately after an almighty thunderclap to my south. Not sure one could say the sun came out.
ReplyDeleteI ma not whinging, others have suffered excessively more, and have shrugged their shoulders, But they are sanguine country folks. But my garden has taken such a battering. I have plants that have stood in inches of water for three days now. I shall have to take a sanguine pill.
I shall check for mushrooms tomorrow when I do a boundary ride in my wellies.
