Having recently shown you historic photos of Honour Avenue I thought it would be good to show how our town commemorated 100 years of Anzac today. This year the parade did a loop of the gardens ending at the Memorial at the top where the service and wreath laying was held. This was followed by a family festival at the church hall or for many others a two-up game at the Blue Mountain Hotel.
The Honour Gardens is beautiful with all the colour of the Autumn leaves. A beautiful place for reflection I would think.
