Wollemi National Park, Newnes
One last look at the lovely scenery at Newnes. In my next few posts I am going to take you back into the Newnes State Forest to see one more place on the way home.
Words to walk with:
Climb the mountains and get their good tidings.
Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees.
The winds will blow their own freshness into you...
while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

I would be very pleased visiting this park. You have shown some fantastic views!
ReplyDeleteAncient, isn't it. And yet, fresh at the same time.
ReplyDeleteWe live in such a diverse country. Compare this with your Christmas tour.
This is so beautiful. It reminds me of a wooded bluff overlooking the Illinois River east of Tahlequah where I used to take my Boy Scout troop camping. I regret now that I didn't take some good photos of the place because I understand it has since been ruined by developers.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this. Absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking us to Newnes. I really, really must go there one day! I love how the escarpment's so close and accessible there.
