Words to walk with: Climb every mountain, search high and low Follow every by way, every path you know Climb every mountain, ford every stream Follow every rainbow, till you find your dream -- Sound of Music
That water looks so clear and clean. My ears image the sound of it gurgling through the small crevaces and over the rapids. Been a while since in have been out among the pebbles and the she-oaks.
TG, yes, a ford is a flat place to drive across a creek. However, this ford now has a low level "bridge" across it. I've dug in the archives and will add a supplementary picture so show you what I mean.
Julie, the water does look fresh but I don't trust any of it for drinking ... civilization has it's way of polluting things given there is a lot of agricultural activity in the valley. And yes the water was gurgling ... so soothing.
I cannot read those words without hearing Julie's voice in my head. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Just part of my childhood I suppose. Another image for your wall, JE.
Lovely!!
ReplyDeleteIs this a ford as in a flat place to drive across a creek? I'm not sure what I am looking at.

ReplyDeleteRocks and water: the perfect combo. Nature's sculpting duo. Lovely shot.
