This is a post to celebrate the rebirth of the CDP Portal. On Friday the mountains were blanketed in an unseasonable fall of snow (given we are now well into Spring and at best we only have a couple of light falls in any winter). We live below the snow line and didn't go up to have a look because the highway was closed for most of the day. The next day we were travelling over the mountains to the west I was surprised to find there was quite a lot still lying on the ground.
Spring is such a fickle season. Freezing cold on Friday and warm and sunny on Saturday.
The air that gave you your snow gave us our coldest October day since 1972!
ReplyDeleteNice picture.

Spring can surely surprise us!
ReplyDeleteIt was wild and woolly on the coast too, although not quite as cold.
ReplyDeletePerhaps it's time we were there again!

Amazing photo, so close to Sydney and yet such a different climate.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Gorgeous pic. I can't remember the last time I saw snow.
ReplyDeleteAttractive photo. The snow covered ground looks inviting in the sunshine.
ReplyDeletesnow, something never seen in my neck of the woods!
ReplyDeleteSurprising! It never occurs to me that it can snow in Australia.
ReplyDeleteRegarding your comment: No, we don't have pelicans here.
I knew it snowed because of The Man From Snowy River. Its great news about the CDP portal.
