On the Undercliff track there were tantilising glimpses of the late afternoon sun glowing on the eastern rock faces and the rush of white water flowing over Wentworth Falls. I scurried back to the top as I didn’t want to be caught out in the dark. Nights are closing in very early now with the shortest day of the year this weekend.
