Ford

Old Ford Reserve, Megalong Valley

Words to walk with:
Climb every mountain, search high and low
Follow every by way, every path you know
Climb every mountain, ford every stream
Follow every rainbow, till you find your dream

  1. Is this a ford as in a flat place to drive across a creek? I'm not sure what I am looking at.

  2. That water looks so clear and clean. My ears image the sound of it gurgling through the small crevaces and over the rapids. Been a while since in have been out among the pebbles and the she-oaks.

  3. TG, yes, a ford is a flat place to drive across a creek. However, this ford now has a low level "bridge" across it. I've dug in the archives and will add a supplementary picture so show you what I mean.

Julie, the water does look fresh but I don't trust any of it for drinking ... civilization has it's way of polluting things given there is a lot of agricultural activity in the valley. And yes the water was gurgling ... so soothing.

  5. Rocks and water: the perfect combo. Nature's sculpting duo. Lovely shot.

  6. I cannot read those words without hearing Julie's voice in my head. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Just part of my childhood I suppose. Another image for your wall, JE.
