"With Glimpses of Creeks and a Vision of Mosses"
Ah, banksias - beautiful plants. Once had a huge banksia serrata outside my kitchen, but it became a danger as it was lifting the path and under the slab, so we reluctantly had to remove it. I never have planted somethign to replace it, so now I think I'll have to get a smaller banksia to fill the gap. It used to attract lots of parrots.
WHat a gorgeous picture. You can see why it's so attractive to birds. I've recently taken to Banskia honey - it's beautiful!
Lovely water droplets on this flower, Joan. I am glad the pressure is easing and you can get out and about a little more.
Welcome back and what a corker to storm in with on the yellow front.
Beautiful yellow banksia.
this flower is lovely. thank you for sharing.
Banksias are so beautiful. This is just lovely and so is your photograph of it. Nice choice for today.
Interesting!!I yet to see this before. Perhaps is not even found in my country. :)
We saw something new today. Need to learn more about them. Haven't seen one in our beloved North Carolina. Wonder if they are here.
Enjoy enjoy enjoy! Banksias were one of the first flowers I fell in love with on moving across the Tasman. We have the 'old man' variety in our garden - not so vibrant but oh so interesting.
Just gorgeous! Wonderful choice indeed!
A beautiful contribution for Theme Day, the shading is remarkable.
